Ghent, Belgium

Saturday, we stayed on the ship and Terri, Janine and David joined our travels.

Sunday, everyone survived their flights.

Ghent, Belgium: The day started out sunny, but cold. We took a bus to the city of Ghent. The architecture was amazing and dated back centuries. The city is known for its 3 towers which are catholic cathedrals with spires. The cathedral has a square steeple. Since it was Sunday, you could not enter the churches until 1:00pm. We took a boat ride on the canal. It is impossible to tell you all of the buildings we saw. The view was amazing, because of the architecture. And yes, it started raining before we finished. Henry walked 8 minutes to the cathedral (I'll post these later.) Terri and I shopped a little before returning to the ship.
